Unique Victorian boathouse sits over the loch and comes with its own fishing boat moored underneath. In a beautiful spot across the loch from the Fishing Lodge this cottage offers guests the chance to really get away from it all, watch the trout rise in the loch, enjoy the abundant bird and wildlife and some lucky few may get chance to see the otters that reside on the loch. For fishermen, walkers, bird watchers and nature lovers Lochside Cottage is a place to unwind and relax.
Traditional whitewashed cottage was the Gate-house to the old estate. It has a light and airy feel with an open fire offering warm and comfortable accommodation that is popular amongst the regular holiday guests. With trees around and a garden area to sit out in, the local bird life can be observed and enjoyed. It is also popular for bigger groups to book this with Elm chalet (which sleeps 4) as they can share a lawn area for evening barbeques.
Stable Cottage is a cosy and quaint cottage that occupies one end of a long stone building and used to house the horses in years gone by. It was converted into a cottage in the late 1800s and its most recent refurbishment was in 2014 retaining original features whilst being centrally heated with a wood burning stove. Sunny outside patio area and use of a grassed walled garden with plenty of under cover storage outside for fishing & outdoor gear.
This chalet is tucked away in a quiet, sunny corner. It is fully insulated making it warm and cosy in the cooler months. As our smallest chalet it is especially suited for couples or two adults.
Elm chalet is situated to the right of the entrance drive and enjoys a decking and lawn area with plenty of sunshine through the day and evening. It is the biggest of the chalets and is fully insulated and very warm and cosy.
Situated in a quiet corner of the site near to Hawthorn and with its own fenced off garden area and parking. Spacious and sunny this is a popular chalet for regular guests. A wide variety of bird life can be enjoyed from the living and kitchen area with some guests bringing their own seeds and nuts.
